Introduction

Hello again SCP lovers!

This week has not been too eventful in terms of gameplay developments. Although we have spent a lot of time restructuring code and messing around with familiar concepts… some would say we are preparing a little surprise. πŸ˜‰

If you want to read up on the previous devlog for SCP: Foundation Simulator “Building, saving & more” where we talk about a ton of new features to game you can read that devlog here!

Next week we are going to be attending a business conference from Wednesday to Friday which are the days we usually work on the game so next week’s devlog might be a bit short.

What progress has been made on the SCP Game?

  • Created temporary human models for workers.
  • Resources (hunger, thirst, sanity) are now stored in the save file.
  • SCPs on the way to the facility are now stored in the save file.
  • Started work on containment breaches.
  • Annihilated the previous build-system and started reworking it.

What have you done this week?

β€œI’ve been tinkering with various designs lately, from flyers and business cards to the website and upcoming β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ/β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ.” – Leo

β€œI spent a ton of my time on β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ and coding CSS & HTML for the website. I also created a basic human model and did some small tweaks to the code.” – Isak

β€œLast week, I tore the entire build-system apart so this week, I’ve been trying to piece the whole thing together again.” – Max
